Description
Brora 32 Year Old, bottled in 2011 as the 10th Release, represents one of the rare official bottlings from the long silent era of the distillery. Brora closed in 1983 and remained shut for almost four decades, which means this whisky comes from a period that many enthusiasts thought would never return. The release was limited to around 1500 bottles and stands as a carefully presented example of mature Brora spirit. In the glass it shows depth, settled peat smoke, maritime character and a calm authority shaped by long ageing. Today it also carries historical importance, as it belongs to the respected series of releases that preserved the reputation of Brora until the distillery finally reopened in 2021.
