Foursquare Triptych is one of the most celebrated releases from the partnership between Foursquare in Barbados and Velier, unveiled in 2016 as a bold statement of the distillery’s blending mastery. The name refers to the combination of three distinct vintages: a twelve-year-old 2004 aged entirely in bourbon casks, an eleven-year-old 2005 matured in both bourbon and Madeira casks, and a ten-year-old 2007 finished in bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at a natural strength of 56 percent, it captures the full spectrum of Foursquare’s style in a single expression. The flavour profile is layered and complex, moving from rich vanilla, coconut and tropical fruit through darker notes of dried figs, raisins and spice, before finishing with cocoa, oak and a touch of tobacco. Limited in release and highly sought after, Triptych quickly became a modern classic in the Velier line, embodying both the innovative spirit of Foursquare and the artistry of Luca Gargano’s selection. Today it is regarded as one of the benchmark bottlings in contemporary rum, a blend that perfectly balances heritage, experimentation and precision.
