Description
Auchentoshan 10 Year Old from the 1980s comes from a period when the distillery still presented its whisky in a very traditional way, with the spirit itself doing most of the talking. As a triple distilled Lowland single malt it shows the lighter, more refined side of Scotch, but with enough substance to feel genuine and satisfying rather than simple. Expect gentle sweetness, soft malt character and a clean, composed style supported by measured oak. Part of the appeal lies in the time it represents: an older expression of Auchentoshan, offering a glimpse of how the distillery was enjoyed several decades ago
