Description
Auchentoshan 18 Year Old from the 1980s, imported by Soffiantino and bottled in the classic dumpy style, is a vintage Lowland single malt that reflects the distillery’s traditional triple-distilled character. Aged for eighteen years and bottled at 40 percent, it shows a gentle and elegant profile rather than overt power. Notes of light citrus, green apple and soft malt are joined by vanilla, subtle oak and a faint floral tone. The texture is smooth and restrained, with a clean, dry finish that was typical of well-matured Lowland whiskies of this era. As an older export bottling with Italian import history, it offers both historical interest and a clear snapshot of Auchentoshan’s understated style in the 1980s.
