Description
Appleton Estate Joy 25 Year Old 20th Anniversary is an exclusive Jamaican rum created to celebrate the two decades of service of Joy Spence, the world’s first female master blender. Released in 2017 in very limited quantities, it is a carefully composed blend of rare marques aged for a minimum of twenty five years, some even older, reflecting both the heritage of Appleton Estate and the artistry of its blender. Bottled at 45 percent, it offers a refined and layered profile, where rich notes of dried apricot, toasted oak, cocoa and vanilla are interwoven with orange peel, molasses and warm spice.
Its exclusivity lies in both its age and its commemorative nature. Few rums of such maturity leave the Appleton warehouses, and the fact that this bottling was crafted as a tribute to Joy Spence’s landmark anniversary makes it all the more collectible. Presented in an elegant decanter and box, Appleton Estate Joy is more than a rum—it is a celebration of legacy, craftsmanship and one of the most important figures in modern rum history, treasured as a milestone release from Jamaica’s oldest distillery.
